Live help is done via Discord, which requires X, and either a dedicated app, or a web browser. The Funtoo forums can be accessed via a text browser, but there is much lost over a GUI browser; and it is unfortunately not well supported.

In addition, opening the installation instructions side by side with a virtual terminal makes installation much easier, and conversely makes it easier for the user the STFW an error before going to either discord or the forums.
