Patch (from Gentoo) attached. Without it, build fails at the end when `@EGREP@` is not found. I suspect it's already in our tree and simply needs to be re-enabled. The `PATCHES` variable in the template needs to be cleaned up and the files moved to the `autogen.yaml`.
