I reinstalled my system today using the latest zen3 gnome stage3. The nvidia-kernel-modules ebuild was not rebuilt, so I did not get accelerated for my video card after install. I had to do a @modules-rebuild and an additional reboot to get this to work.

This is very likely because metro isn't doing a @modules-rebuild and since we are now including third-party modules in our DE stage3's, this is now necessary.

This issue could also be addressed by removing nvidia-drivers by default and starting out with nouveau, which is likely how we will end up addressing this, since we are leaning that way anyway.
