harvester next: binutils 2.39 updates thrown away

    • Our binutils is very close to being updated but we lost some previously-done work.

      In dealing with FFS-16, a glibc update was reverted in harvester/2022-11, but with this a binutils update was also reverted.

      This threw away an important fix in FL-10753, as well as obviously the glibc update.

      I have been using binutils-2.39_p5 on my harvester/2023-01 system with no ill effects for several months. I think it was unnecessary to revert the binutils update – just the glibc update.

      If there was no specific reason to revert the binutils update, I would like to see it added back to harvester so we can at least get this update into Funtoo.
