old framebuffer drivers enabled in our debian-sources kernel (coming from the default debian config) mess up more modern KMS-based drivers and should be disabled. We should also update install docs to mention nomodeset GRUB menu troubleshooting step and clean out any old info on editing boot.conf which is no longer needed.

After enabling radeon mix-ins got a message
"CONFIG_FB_RADEON should not be set. But it is" during recompiling on next
