I try to keep my package bump requests to a minimum. However, I'd like to use qemu with libvrt and virt-manager, instead of virtualbox. I may try the out of date versions available in portage, but I'm hesitant given their age and the potential for security vulnerabilities.

Granted, while I would like to make the switch, I haven't made use of qemu yet. Even so, I would greatly appreciate it if you'd consider bringing it closer to the latest version, and I will understand if there's not enough demand to warrant putting int the time and effort to do so.
