Create an autogen ebuild in dev-kit (same as other Rust tools like lsd and bat) for uutils-coreutils, a Rust implementation of GNU Coreutils.

By default this tools creates a multicall binary similar to busybox called coreutils so installing this Rust Crate will not conflict with regular GNU coreutils binaries.
