Out of curiosity, I decided to try and emerge libreoffice with use flag for additional functionality/extension enabled. The only one that would eventually cause emerge to fail is pdfimport, with log (that I forgot to save ) indicating that it might be an upstream problem, so this issue is more of an indication to anyone who might need pdfimport in their libreoffice.
