Since we have a pure fork of funtoo, rather than doing a continual resync with gentoo, there is a way to get the merge scripts to run a lot faster by not dynamically calculating what catpkgs are in which kits, but instead by using a static list of catpkgs for each kit. This would turn tree updates into something that would take a few minutes rather than 15+ minutes.
