      This is an epic (umbrella ticket) for integrating packages with autogen framework

      There are some -bin packages which could be automatically upgraded using this framework. E.g. www-client/google-chrome::browser-kit, www-client/firefox-bin::browser-kit

      if you are integrating with GitHub repo make sure to check release API and tags API. There are cases when useful versions can be obtained from one or both of them. Tags API has much smaller response body so I guess it's preferable. Examples:

      • both release or tags API return useful versions: FL-7048
      • only release API returns useful versions: FL-7052
      • only tags API returns useful versions: FL-7053

      important note: when release API is used also prerelease property must be checked for false value in order to avoid this bug
