I'm trying to install the hexeditor dev-util/bless which depends on dev-dotnet/gtk-sharp. The latter one fails to emerge properly. I have seen several errors fly by, here is an example:

/usr/bin/mdassembler --ecma ./en -o gtk-sharp-docs

• ACCESS DENIED: mkdir: /etc/mono/registry
  Error reading namespace XML for GtkSharp.GnomeSharp at ./en/ns-GtkSharp.GnomeSharp.xml
  Error reading namespace XML for GtkSharp.GnomeVfsSharp at ./en/ns-GtkSharp.GnomeVfsSharp.xml
