I have noticed allot of users having issues with long wait times to get a login prompt on boot with recent kernels, myself included. This issue can be fixed by adding more entropy to the users systems in the form of installing sys-apps/rng-tools or sys-apps/haveged. I was just wondering if there would be any interest in an addition to the install guide with a short description of random number generation and entropy plus the option of installing one of these tools? Just a thought
