Hi.
Yesterday i've found that funtoo has wpa_supplicant template and i have no need in my custom wifi template now . But i found some missed features that has my wifi template and try to patch wpa_supplicant template to eliminate this situation . May be this will be useful for all(if so, i'll make pull request). Patched in the order they must be applied with descriptions:
- wpa_supplicant.mkdir.patch
there is no pidfile dir /var/run/wpa_supplicant/, so it must be created - wpa_supplicant.config.patch
there are situations when binding config file name to an interface is not convenient.
For example, i have several wifi networks at one place and need to switch between them. With this patch i can do this with help of config variable or CONFIG environment variable. E.g.:
~# CONFIG=mobile.conf /etc/init.d/net.wlan0 start - wpa_supplicant.dhcp.patch
add dhcp variable; when it set to "yes", dhcpcd is started after wpa_supplicant and this looks like dhcpcd template behaviour
