Running g-cpan -l after straight emerging results in this error

* ERROR READING /profiles/arch.list: No such file or directory

It seems this was addressed in gentoo bug https://bugs.gentoo.org/581490 and it's recommended to run the 9999 build. However, that results in the following error 

Error resolving realpath on '/etc/portage/make.profile/core-kit:funtoo/1.0/linux-gnu/arch/x86-64bit': No such file or directory at /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/5.26.2/Gentoo/Portage/Q.pm line 153.
