I want to replace better-initramfs. No feature for kernel modules loading exist currently, no plans for support or documentation: https://github.com/slashbeast/better-initramfs/issues/40

I need help to write a new initramfs. Our own initramfs funtoo!

Requirements to new initramfs:

• Support for BCACHE.
• Support for LVM.
• Support for dmcrypt LUKS
• Support for software RAID
• UUID/LABEL support for root and enc_root
• Kernel modules loading (New feature!)
• Kernel version independent (like better-initramfs)

This initramfs is important for booting funtoo on bare metal servers, virtual machines or desktop.
