      libxmlpp-2.40 and 3.0.1 fails to configure.
      is this error when trying to configure

      checking dynamic linker characteristics... (cached) GNU/Linux ld.so

checking pkg-config is at least version 0.9.0... yes

configure: error: Package requirements (libxml-2.0 >= 2.7.7 glibmm-2.4 >= 2.32.0) were not met:

Package 'glibmm-2.4', required by 'virtual:world', not found

      the glibmm package I have it installed but still gives error
