There is a dormant LInux Live distribution based on Gentoo that is something like Tails (providing secure communications in hostile environments).

Would be nice to learn and maybe borrow some stuff from this project for the Funtoo LiveCD/USB.

Interesting stuff:

• lightweight - 200 MB space needed on USB
• low resources - 192 MB RAM
• secure - using hardened-sources improving security
• secure - all volatile memory gets wipe on reboot to prevent cold boot attacks
• persistent storage - in LUKS/OTFE volume
• anonymity - all network torified and I2P available
• and security once more - all software is build from source and UEFI secure boot with kernel signing ...

I would like to see a continuation of liberte project as Funtoo LiveUSB Project that provides also security.
