emerge --info is attached as emerge-info.log
runescape-launcher merges fine and while it worked fine at first it no longer launches and gives the error message:
/opt/runescape-launcher/runescape: /usr/lib64/libcurl.so.4: no version information available (required by /opt/runescape-launcher/runescape) The program 'runescape' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'. (Details: serial 61623 error_code 8 request_code 42 minor_code 0) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
Now the first line (/opt/runescape-launcher/runescape: /usr/lib64/libcurl.so.4: no version information available (required by /opt/runescape-launcher/runescape)) occurred even when the program launches fine. The error message below this first line occurs for me on other Linux distros also after using the runescape-launcher fine for a while.
runescape-launcher-debug.log is the output of running:
LD_DEBUG=libs runescape-launcher
