Connecting a DualShock 3 gamepad to my computer, either via USB or Bluetooth, causes programs that are linked to libgdk-x11-2.0.so. None of my other peripherals seem to trigger this phenomenon but it happens consistently with this peripheral. I've seen the problem over the course of the past two weeks and not before that.

I apologize for the relatively sparse information, I'm not entirely sure how to go about debugging this or where to even start looking. I have tried the same hardware booting from a liveCD of another distribution and did not see this issue.
