I'm running a single network card using dhcpcd. I get an IP address, nameservers, search domain, and a static route that is needed for my network. But I don't get a gateway assigned.
Gateway assignment works for all my other Linux and Windows systems on this network. The dhcp server is also the gateway, so I know the gateway is available. I can manually add the gateway after boot, and it works fine.
I previously had a static network configuration, but I am pretty sure I cleaned up properly. I removed /etc/conf.d/netif.eth0 and /etc/init.d/netif.eth0. I removed netif.eth0 from the default runlevel and added dhcpcd.
