      funtoo stable on vmware

      Description

Funtoo ships with no /etc/issue file. This file is commonly used to identify the OS. I think Funtoo should ship with a standard /etc/issue file, as most other Linux distros do. The admin would of course be free to change it if desired.

Here are the /etc/issue files provided by other Linux distros as examples:

      Debian GNU/Linux 8 \n \l

      CentOS release 6.6 (Final)
      Kernel \r on an \m

      Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS \n \l

      Welcome to SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP3 (s390x) - Kernel \r (\l).

Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.4 (Tikanga)
      Kernel \r on an \m

      Linux Mint 16 Petra \n \l
