Hi, I'm a new user and I have a little problem with fresh install using stage3 for i686 [2014-12-05 and before] and K8 (date 2014-10-27 and before), in both case with only stage3, revdep-rebuild show me broken libs affected this packages:

sys-libs/db
dev-libs/libltdl
sys-devel/gcc

Well this bugs have other report bugs closed for lack information required by Oleg

And now I add new report and attach the information.

I need to said that, this stranges problems not broken the system or compilation and actually my system (using stage3-i686-2014-12-05) is full stable, but revdep-rebuild continues showing broken libs.

I hope this information help for fix this.

revdep-rebuild-pvi.txt, contain the the output for command revdep-rebuild -pvi in my actual system (on fresh stage3 only three packages before mentioned with affected)

The file /var/lib/portage/preserved_libs_registry have this permissions

ls -lia /var/lib/portage/preserved_libs_registry
523301 rw-rw--- 1 root portage 0 dic 3 03:31 /var/lib/portage/preserved_libs_registry

And a cat command show that this file is empty

The world packages is a file attached.
