alpine linux has picked up the eudev project, however we seem to not be running it by default.

im probing in the core system from exploring LVM, and lvm seems to be having problems with our udev. LFS and gentoo split udev directly from systemd now, however several distributions do not. LFS previously has used eudev but since has dropped it. udev is tied in kernel, so it should be fairly close in version consistency with the kernel it's being run on, and i think our's is too out of date to run 6.x.x kernels on
