[next] net-misc/dhcpcd-10.0.5 does not fork into background

      3. Wait max-lease-time and check the `ip addr` that system has no IP address

    • dhcpcd can die unexpectedly.

      The problem has been noticed in lxd container, but IMHO it effects and other systems.

      After start of lxd container `dcpcd` runs for a while and exits, and after max-lease-time system looses a configured network device.

      There is an upstream issue regarding this problem
