I was trying to update my system via `emerge -uavDN @world`, and it failed while emerging sys-devel/gdb.

I am using custom USE flags due to having set my system up following the RootFS over encrypted LVM HOWTO ,however I don't think that's causing the problem given the error message in the build log.

I will be attaching my package.use file with comments describing why the settings are the way they are.
