During a world update, app-emulation/virtualbox-bin-7.0.2.154219 failed to install. It has failed to install for a while, and probably through a couple-few versions, I simply haven't had the time to file this issue. The following is relevant info from the build.log:
>>> Install app-emulation/virtualbox-bin-7.0.2.154219 into /var/tmp/portage/app-emulation/virtualbox-bin-7.0.2.154219/image/ Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/portage/python3.7/doins.py", line 594, in <module> sys.exit(main(sys.argv[1:])) File "/usr/lib/portage/python3.7/doins.py", line 585, in main os.path.dirname(source)): File "/usr/lib/portage/python3.7/doins.py", line 434, in _doins return install_runner.install_file(source, os.path.dirname(dest)) File "/usr/lib/portage/python3.7/doins.py", line 370, in install_file return self._ins_runner.run(source, dest_dir) File "/usr/lib/portage/python3.7/doins.py", line 179, in run sstat = os.stat(source) FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: b'kchmviewer' * ERROR: app-emulation/virtualbox-bin-7.0.2.154219::core-kit failed (install phase): * doins failed
Furthermore, while attempting to emerge
app-text/kchmviewer
, it seems to require ruby27, while many packages on this system currently use ruby31 (as far as I can tell).
For the time being, I simply commented out the section which includes the CHM viewer stuff, because I don't think that I need it.
