    • This has a big impact on Funtoo. We want media-kit to be well-maintained to support the needs of so many things in Funtoo.

      We are in need of a maintainer for media-kit who will take a leadership role in curating this kit for next-release and turning it into a model citizen for Funtoo.

      What should be included in this work is:

      • Continued efforts to organize our packages.yaml (which has already been organized and documented well)
      • Completion of maintenance tasks defined in packages.yaml (moving things to other kits that should be in other kits, etc.)
      • Autogen the ebuilds that it makes sense to autogen.
      • Add documentation to the Media project page on the wiki
      • Continue to evolve media-kit in maturity and functionality.
