I have forgotten that there is a new required argument for merge-kits in non-prod mode. A --fixups_url argument is required if ~/repo_tmp/source-trees/kit-fixups doesn't already exists.

This needs to be documented and explained so that people know how to use it. This may also allow for "dev mode" (use my kit-fixups) tree regens without requiring gitolite as per https://www.funtoo.org/Creating_Your_Own_Meta-Repo_and_Kits – which is more complex (but more capable.)

So I should probably clean up these docs as well so that users are aware of the simpler local solution for regenning their own meta-repo based on their local changes.
