Higan is a multi-system emulator, originally developed by the infamous programmer Near. Sadly Near-san passed away back in 2021 and the final release of Higan was v110. We current have v106 in tree.

This is a task to update games-emulation/higan to the final v110 version for historical accuracy.

Fortunately the emulation preservation adventure has continued with Higan's descendant project known as Ares: https://ares-emu.net/

The second portion of this task is to autogen ares using its GitHub repo (https://github.com/ares-emulator/ares) and any of its dependencies. These are all actively developed and will give Funtoo users access to the one of the most accurate multi-system emulators available.
