I recently came across a really awesome tool called just – https://crates.io/crates/just/1.4.0. This is a request to add an autogen for this Rust crate to Funtoo dev-kit.

It is a full feature task runner written in Rust that is a drop in replace for make and make-like tools. In particular it is excellent for codifying repo related tasks in a clean easy to use, lightly marked up DSL. Far far low learning curve than something like make.

In particular I would like to use this in the development of the Funtoo Prometheus exporter in https://bugs.funtoo.org/browse/FL-9559

Overall this is a useful tool for anyone developing in a code repository and would be a great addition to the curated set of Funtoo development packages.
