Improve GNOME support

      Funtoo getting chronic issues with GNOME support. Currently clean GNOME emerge is broken. Bug created to track ability to permanently fix issues, if possible.
      Current situation: gnome-3.6 mostly cleaned out of gentoo-x86 and gnome-3.8.x and it's core dependencies stabilized.
