Summary

With the advent of Funtoo next, one set of packages from nokit that needs updating: Kubernetes.

This issue tracks the overall progression of converting all Kubernetes core software and tools to the latest greatest versions using autogen-based ebuilds and getting them running properly on Funtoo next so Funtoo users can tinker and play with Kubernetes on their personal systems and servers.

Goals

1. Autogen Kubernetes core software and tools
2. Be able to natively run a modern (v1.23.3 or greater) Kubernetes Cluster on Funtoo next

Scope

Kubernetes is a large ecosystem, we are targeting to track with core upstream software and tools versions to provide the best vanilla Kubernetes user experience:
