      User mrl5 has a fantastic cpe/cve checker tool that they use to file security bugs. This tool is open source: https://github.com/mrl5/metarepo-cpe-tag
      and it would be great to have a plugin for `ego` to be able to use this tool. This ticket captures the intent, but both drobbins and mrl5  will need to negotiate the details
