On recent next-release stage3's, an error message appears when setting a password and pam_crackdict runs:

New password: 
/usr/lib/cracklib_dict.pwd.gz: No such file or directory
BAD PASSWORD: error loading dictionary 

The file is indeed missing. So there is some failure somewhere.
