Since Wireguard will replace VPN in the future, can the ootb kernel configuration be modified to enable the option "Config_Crypto_Blkcipher". See the error below:

Assuming the Gentoo documentation is accurate, it should be only necessary to enable
CONFIG_WIREGUARD in the current Debian Sources config.
