My system is a litle "exotic" cause i've xfce4 , Gnome 3 & KDE-plasma-5.
(~ 1850 ebuilds)

To compile =x11-libs/wxGTK-2.8.12.1-r2 i must Disable locally "-gnome -odbc" otherwise the ebuild fails to compile.
