      xorg-1.20 is now the current release, and the one which the most recent nvidia-drivers is built against (protocol rev 24 IIRC). It supports important new configuration directives, which allow for seamless vendor driver loading in most cases, and largely eliminates the need for eselect-opengl when used in combination with libglvnd.
