Emerging ego and syncing attempts to change perms on RO /var/git/meta-repo with different repo set in ego.conf.

      When updating the system on a container, I noticed that ego was streaming pages of operation no permitted warnings while trying to change owner/perms on /var/git/meta-repo, even though ego.conf points elsewhere for the repo location.
