gnome-extra/cinnamon-control-center is currently at version 2.8.1 in the Funtoo tree despite gnome-extra/cinnamon being at 3.4.2.  Changes to the cinnamon-settings-daemon mean that the older versions of cinnamon-control-center no longer function rendering basic functions like changing display resolution and configuration through the cinnamon GUI non-functional.
