All x86 Apple hardware that uses Apple's EFI implementation.
At current, booting Funtoo Linux on Apple EFI based hardware doesn't require much tweaking, but isn't supported by boot-update either. This ticket is to request eventual support for Apple EFI in boot-update (and, by extension, Funtoo Linux) and aggregate information from the community on the issues that we currently face booting Funtoo Linux on Apple EFI based hardware. If you have any experience booting Funtoo Linux on Apple EFI based hardware, please, feel free to provide what information you can.
At the time of this writing, late 2009 iMacs and Mac Pros can be booted by adding an insmod for efi_gop and setting gfxpayload to "keep" in an otherwise automatically generated grub.cfg from a current boot-update (1.6.11 currently). I've experienced no issues on the iMac related to booting, but the Mac Pro has exhibited a quirk in which some ANSI color escapes result in the wrong color being rendered in this mode.
