Hi,
this is just a thought for a module for ego. I would like to be able to select from kernel config profiles like for example lxc/lxd (or virtualisation) that would select all the required options in kernel config.
So this is how I envision it:
# ego kernel list Please select your "modules" that should be enabled for your kernel: === core - Kernel core features === initramfs, namespaces, cgroups === fs - Filesystems === ext4, btrfs, xfs, ... === desktop - Desktop related modules === nvidia, nouveau, ati, webcam, === server - Server related modules === virtualisation, lxc/lxd, encryption === hardened - Hardened kernels === grsec, selinux # ekconf server +encryption # ekconf hardened +grsec # ekconf show === Enabled kernel modules/profiles === server: encryption hardened: grsec
The modules would then select all the required kernel config variables.
