I have cloned and tested meta-repo. This is what I get after following instructions on github
!!! Repository 'nokit' is missing masters attribute in '/var/git/meta-repo/kits/nokit/metadata/layout.conf' !!! Set 'masters = core-kit' in this file for future compatibility
Also the instructions for clonig could be simlified to:
# mkdir /var/git # cd /var/git # git clone --recursive https://github.com/funtoo/meta-repo.git # rm /usr/share/portage/config/repos.conf # rm -rf /etc/portage/repos.conf # ln -s /var/git/meta-repo/repos.conf /etc/portage/repos.conf # chown -R portage:portage /var/git/meta-repo
