I have been trying some desktops, and finally I liekd the layout of cinnamon ...

I read a lot about slow performance and the arguments that there are no slow performances in the net...

and I found a good test case. You install firfox, open it, make a google search and try to open a search result with right mouse click and to "open in another tab".

I have got very slow resonse ... some seconds to get the right mouse click menu and than another some to get the page opened ...

Nevertheless, I am getting closer to the point why that happens ....

I got so fed up with that, that i decided to install xfce and kde for testing.

After having installed xfce and kde (partially), by a sudden that issue is solved. Taht means, it performs super fast now.

So I believe that we have not installed one "cinnamon-tuning-up" dependency ... which seem to be not known by anibody.

As i am going to install a second computre from the scratch ... within the next 6 weeks, I sugest that I will try to find out, which package makes the difference ...

... or somebody else allready knows it ...
