Critical (System) commit 0530e32a28c70f76b16fb65e3f719555044b7ac4 breaks portage for pure64 systems. As there were major changes in this commit, it may be hard to track down the issue.
This commit seems to remove the abi_x86_64 use flag, causing numerous packages to try to remerge with ABI_X86="(-32) (-64*) (-x32)" <eg. sys-libs/gpm-1.20.7-r2>.
In addition to this bug, profiles/funtoo/1.0/linux-gnu/arch/pure64/package.mask/01-gentoo was reverted from a 2014 copy to a copy from 2012!
The other changes cannot be compared with git diff and I fear I might end up breaking something if I attempt go any further. (when gentoo did the python upgrade without changing pythons ABI... only to remask it a weekk later, I spent >hr tracking the abi use flags for up/downgrade, mostly due to blender's use force)
