gnutls-3.3.6 emerge hangs during "autogen" calls when trying to do a world emerge, or emerging on its own.

Log file was the result of:

MAKEOPTS="-j1" emerge -1v gnutls

Process was stopped after half an hour of no activity, and no build process showing any sign of life in htop.
