      For GDAL, to support the .ecw format [0], it is required to be compiled with the USE flags "ecwj2k threads". Attempting this, currently, fails (while configuring) with the error message:

      "checking whether we should include Java support... configure: error: "Cannot find /opt/oracle-jre-bin-1.7.0.51/include directory."
