net-im/zoom-bin 5.13.5.431 fails to start

      $ sudo emerge -av net-im/zoom-bin
      $ zoom-bin

    • zoom-bin won't start on some systems. Hard to understand why without looking at logs.

      net-im/zoom-bin 5.13.5.431 silently crashes on start.

      zoom log shows error message, "/opt/zoom/zoom: error while loading shared libraries: libgssapi_krb5.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

      Installing app-crypt/mit-krb5 provides libgssapi_krb5.so.2  allows the client to start successfully.
