Right now Funtoo doesn't offer a lot of packages for multilingual use, but that will change as the Multilingual/CJK projects advance in their activities.

Also, the packages that exist are spread into different kits, such a desktop-kit, media-kit, text-kit and so on.

This new kit would contain spellcheck dictionaries for most languages, unbundled translation packages (for the ones who offer them separately, like libreoffice, for example), dictionary applications, fonts with support for certain scripts, dictionary applications, computer-assisted translation applications and machine translation applications, for example.

Not every i18n package for every language will go into i18n. We need to keep a minimal support, especially for the major European languages, such as English, Spanish and French, in the other kits, otherwise, it would become a core kit that would be required for every installation.
