    • This seems like a great benefit to users of emacs who want a solid performance improvement.

      Emacs 28.1 now optionally supports native compilation. Emacs Lisp can be compiled into native code with libgccjit to get a great performance improvement. The feature can be easily enabled by adding a configure option "--with-native-compilation".
