start-stop-daemon not working on OpenVZ hosts

      This bug is here to track an issue on OpenVZ hosts, where start-stop-daemon from OpenRC gets confused and thinks services are running when they're really running in containers.

      This bug can be fixed when it's fixed in the Funtoo Portage tree.
